A list of flaws...

Live users, feel free to corroborate any of the things in this list. Somewhere between 3 and 4 Live got a little funky, but not in a good way.

1. Inability to page backwards on clip offsets. In v.3 you could page back and forth, now it is only forward.
2. MIDI clips in the session view should be somehow importableable into tracks in the arrangement view. (this is more of a wish)
3. Sometimes the offset marker will not acknowledge the global quantization e.g. if it is set to none, it will still snap to 16th's.
4. The firing of clips sometimes ignore the global quantization
5. Soloing is weird, I cannot hold down shift to solo multiple tracks efficiently. There is always one that doesn't catch. Plus if I hit two solo's at the the same time, I have to hit only one to unsolo both. I appreciate the global unsolo but this implementation is screwy.
6. Window selection via the alt+direction keys has changed. Try it. Also the nice window highlighting has disappeared, this is not an improvement.

I will continue to add to this list as I stumble on more subtle but vexing changes.

I love to Live. I Live to love.

Number 2 on you list is already possible. Just drag any midi-clip to the arrangement page, via the arrangment icon top right. The just drop it in a midi arrangement track.

SkeptikTank,

That's what I like to see, a quick response. Thanks for pointing this out!
