Change keyboard shortcuts?

Hey,
Is there anyway to change Live's keyboard shortcuts? One I definitely need to disable is the space bar as the play button. Too many things can go wrong with that one during a set.

Im not on the m4l beta, but I guess you could use the key object and live.remote and store it a patch using loadmess. Then store this patch in your default live set

A free program called Ukelele should do the trick. It lets you remap the keyboard in OSX for all applications.
Get it here:
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page ... id=ukelele
I just successfully disabled the space bar in Mac OS 10.5.6, and kept notes for everyone's benefit:
First, you need to make it easy to flip back and forth between all your keyboard layouts. My girlfriend uses Dvorak, so I had already done this:
Open System Preferences
Click "International"
Click Input Menu
Click "Show input menu in menu bar"
Now get your remapping software, and create an Ableton keymap:
Download and optionally install ukelele
double-click the U.S. keyboard layout included in the installer package
double-click the space bar in the Ukelele pane and either delete the space by hitting delete, or assign the slash key to the space bar
optionally assign the space character to the slash key by double-clicking the slash key and then hitting the space bar
From the Keyboard Menu, set keyboard type and set keyboard name as appropriate
Select File->Save As, call the file "Ableton", and save the layout to your Me/Library/Keyboard Layouts Folder
Log out and Log Back in
At the top of the right hand portion of the screen, you'll see a little U.S. Flag.
Select "Ableton" From the List.

Late comment: Remap the keyboard for one app? That's a very bad idea. Menu choices are changeable per app or overall in Mac OS X. For single keys in app like Live there are other solutions.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to make Ukulele work. Using the latest version of it with OSX Sierra 10.12.6. It appears I'm changing the space bar and some other keys to different ones. I save the layout, install it, and select it in the System Preferences, but nothing changes.
