This one seems to work now, though I don't know yet how to feed some Midi notes into the device (I am a Live newbie...)

Its called St.ascade and is a filter with some interpolation gimmicks.

Fun is right! Not only is it entertaining to play, but I got a crash to report out of the deal as well.

I also found that the limiter device was my friend on this one. Some pretty big swings of Q going on here...

[There is a tiny typo in the "manual." It is quartertones, not quarter notes, right?]

Thank you for this device. It looks like it will be very interesting as you continue to work on it. Just writing to say "well done" "thanks" and "keep it up!"

By the way - I believe there was another thread about creating devices which received both MIDI and audio...but I'm not finding it right now....

Please replace the old St.ascade with this updated version (http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/288305/St.ascade.amxd).
As my user interface has serveral objects displaying the same thing, I had quite a bit feedback of messages going on. This would crash Live sooner or later and would make it also very unresponsive. I replaced some deferlows in the feedback chains with qlims which seems to have solved the problem...

The old version was pretty stable in Max, but it was too much for M4L (that's why I never stumbled upon my design flaw in Max...).
Qlim seem to be your friend in feedback control values. Just to share some important experience...

The Midi note control of the filters can be achieved with another device, which would simply enable to route it to my St.ascade its ment to be a workaround for routing Midi to various places. And will also work with my synths and samplers...
