Hendrix Amplitube Causing Ableton 8.0.5 to Crash -OSX 10.5.8

One can record fine into Ableton via Amplitube. Dare to move the region or do anything of the sort w. Amplitube plug-in still initiated
....CRASH!
Fix it, Lads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
