Missing "MIDI From" Input Types - Other MIDI Channels

I have a tune I made in Live 4.0.1 and I opened it in 4.0.2

On channel "8 MIDI", it was getting MIDI from channel "7 MIDI" as its input type. I was doubling up two bass sounds with channel "7 MIDI" driving another VSTi on channel "8 MIDI". Channel "8 MIDI" is directly to the right of channel "7 MIDI".

When I load this song in Live 4.0.2, channel "MIDI 8" has a MIDI From Input type of "4-MIDI" which doesn't exist (it is in Red in the drop down box). When I select "4-MIDI" in the drop down, the list drops down, but there are no other MIDI channels available...the only options are:

All Ins
Computer Keyboard
In USB Keystation
Configure....

No Input

In summary, it appears that I cannot use another MIDI channel to drive another MIDI channel in my 4.0.1 song.

I can send the song in if you need it.

As a followup, if I load the default song and I click on the drop down list of MIDI From Input type on channel "4 MIDI", I see "3 MIDI" as an input type. It appears to just be on previous tunes.

Didn't we see this bug somewhere in the 4 beta process?

yes, please send me the song (wothout samples).
And please let me know which computer platform and OS do you use?

This problem is fixed in 4.0.3!

Thank you very much, Ableton!
