Hello people
I've recorded some instrumental songs with Ableton but i would like to get some reversed solo guitar in them. Is that possible with Ableton 7.0.10, if yes: How do you do that? If not: What alternatives are there?
Thanks!

you can record your guitar as normal then it's as easy as clicking the reverse button in clip view, add a small amount of delay and you'll be there.

also fun to record in one track, duplicate and reverse the clip and paste into another track, and then cut that reversed one up and overlap them, maybe use different fx on each track etc, mess around with the warp markers etc.
but i think hendrix got that sound because he was ambidextrous and he just switched hands when recording the ones that sound backwards.

Hey!
Thanks for replying so quickly!
I'm very glad to hear that it's not so hard after all, my only problem is I can't actually find the "reverse" button. Where can I find it?
Sorry but I'm quite new with Ableton.
Thanks!

double click on any audio clip and it will be at the bottom left of your screen, next to Edit and Save, it is labelled Rev.

Put say, 4 microdots (or purple ohm's if your prefer) under your bandana when you play live....
You will then have control over all possible dimensions...

I heard that the way to do this is to reverse the whole of your track and record your guitar solo to the reversed track, then when you reverse your guitar track and play it over your normal unreversed track the solo will "fit"

In a wave of paranoia I craftily hid strip of twenty brown microdots in my sock whilst getting into glastonbury festy 1989 some 20 years ago. (The first year the police were on site)
Luckily I've since visited the glasto website to see what '89 was like and have also had the fortune of seeing the odd video clip
I was however suprised at the absence of the crystaline dragons ridden by three headed mermaids playing les pauls made from marshmallow that spewed from the main stage.....

or... just find a reverse delay like on the line6 dl4 for instance.
