moving transpose knob issue

Hi guys,
i noticed this:
Got my tracks on the arrange view playing, open session view, i put a sample in it and play it along with all the other tracks.
I move the transpose knob to create fast pitch changing in the selected sample, if i do that in the arrange view everything is ok, if i try to move it on the session view it doesn't respond.. i mean, if i want to record all those transpose knob movement i can't do that..
try to move the same transpose knob on the same sample, one in arrange and the other one in the session...why does it not respond?
