Right. That is a good question. So I'll narrow it down to 2 definitions.
Anybody who has toured at least nationally (in whatever country) as a headliner at respectable venues
OR
Anybody who has had at least a paragraph written about them in a well known music publication (printed, not some web blog) or has a picture of them pimping some hardware/software in the publication.

the twelves had a pc laptops... you have to admit though... it looks more "pro" to have the mac... somehow apples advertising has extended even to the music community... if you have a glowing white apple... you are SERIOUS! the stability is nice... they do look nice in a setup...

i saw a band called USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) a couple of weeks ago and i dont think their DJ was using a Mac, also a DJ by the name of DJ Girl Talk, he definetley doesnt use a MAC i know that for sure...
And i dont use a MAC DUH! (although i wish i did) and i headline lots of shows

you know, i own a VAIO. i dont use it as my Main computer for audio but id have to say, right out of the box (depending on which model) it is a pretty powerful machine!

I'M a Mac fanfag and all but I know for a fact that Otto Von Shirach hates Mac and of course doesn't use one. He's not a stadium packer but he can drive a laptop better than an F1 driver can take curves....
