Hi i use Live 8 on PC and got a Unitor 8 to sync my outboard. after some problems i got the drivers installed. no it runs with usb. all 8 ins and outs are visible in the midi/sync preferences but they are shown in orange which normaly means they are not active right? they are normaly configured right (Midi In: Trackswitch On; Midi Out Track and Syncswitch On). If i change this seetings the ports turn grey but still not accessible, which means i cant route them in the track because their not shown up. if i close Live and restart the preferences are as before the process. Is that a matter with Live? Did i have other options to configure the interface or is that any other kind of problem?
thanks for help! Its really needed as Emagic doesnt exist anymore!

greets tim

Hey,

Did you ever get your Unitor working?
I have one that I purchased recently
and am having zero joy with it! It picks
up signals on all 8 of the ports but
Ableton hasn't picked it up at all! Can
you help??

Hi, is Unitor appearing as an available MIDI interface in Live, under Preferences->MIDI? Also, is it appearing on your machine outside of Live?

Hi,
I have an AMT8 and also work with a pc. It doesn't work for me so far on the usb port because of another bug - which is a big showstopper: MIDI Clock signals from the pc won't get out of the AMT8 in the right way. Means it's the wrong Tempo. Problem is known with PCs and there will be no fix for this ever. I remember a strange Win XP bug: The 10 MIDI I/O Limit. Google it. Maybe this is the problem. So far my AMT8 is listed in normal color in Ableton despite the fact I can't use it because of the mentioned bug.
Best regards.
