Hi, I am trying to prevent Automap from opening every time I open Live. I dont need it on all occasions so I would rather just open it when I require. Is there a way to stop it opening automatically without uninstalling?
Thanks

I posted this in another forum with the same topic. If you don't mind automap launching, but are annoyed by how you have to select Ableton, here is a workaround:
I found out that you can use Automator, an app that comes with all Macs, to create a workflow. Instead of opening Live with from your dock/applications folder/finder, etc., create a workflow using Automator to launch the app (Ableton Live). This will launch Live, which will Rewire Automap, but then it will bring live to the front again. If you don't want Automap to open at all, just move it to another folder like others have mentioned.
You would also have to go into your Automap preferences so it doesn't show the GUI.
I hope this helps.
