hello beta guys,
I didn't find anything about creating a track in Live when inserting a M4L patch...
For example i have a general midi control patch to hang on in the master fader track but for the ease of use i need to create a midi track wich is going to be the place where everything is to be seen and used (feedback info...)
...so can we put a patch in the master track and when this is done it will create another midi track called Midi master track!
is this already possible?
Sorry if this is already possible but I haven't find anything online,
Cheers
Hubert
PS: and if it's possible for a midi track could it be for an audio track?

Re: creating midi or audio track after inserting a M4L patch
Track creation of any sort is not possible with MFL, or specifically, the API. You'll need to figure out another way of doing it.

maybe sending keyboard keystrike cmd+T ( audio track) or cmd+shift+T ( midi track) via max.pukunui wrote:You'll need to figure out another way of doing it.

I don't know if there is a way to send keystroke via max without any external library.
I did it once using OSCulator via OSC.
