Undo.cfg File Grows to Gigantic Size with Tau MkII

When I have recorded controller data (for filter sweeps on Tau MkII for example) the recorded movements seems to feed back into the undo list, causing my undo file to grow about 1 MB per every 3 measures, without me even touching my controller, the computer keyboard, or the mouse.
If I delete the controller data in the clip, the Undo.cfg file stops growing - unless I actually make a change.
So far Tau MkII seems to be the only one that does this.
That doesn't seem right to me...
ANd yes I have deleted undo.cfg and preferences.cfg.
