Platinum Notes - Yay or neigh?

Post by MrH » Mon Oct 26, 2009 4:12 pm

I've done a fair bit of digging on this, but most reviews and comments are quite old now. Clearly - it has got better and a new version coming soon.

Only thing is - I think it means re-warping and also I have a fair few 128 & 256kb AAC files.

Anyone have it? Love it? Waste of money?...

i have it.

i don't always love it (like mixedinkey, which is a must)

and since decided actually not to use it
b/c the rewarping is a pain
and b/c i don't always find that it enhances the tracks...

I use it mainly for mp3 generation of my ableton generated wavs. it shows nice info if something's wrong with my tracks. it's sort of my mastering-master. he tells me i fucked up :) if all went well, it doesn't report any corrections, except making it maybe a bit more loud (as i export with too much -db always)
