hi,

i just bought a new laptop to go play live, i installed my brand new copy of ableton live 4 and it crashes constantly giving me this error: windows visual C++ runtime error 8O . does anybody know what this means? could it be the service pack 2 of windows XP that conflicts with live? my cache memory thats not high enough? please help, getting desperate  . I have a centrino 1.7 Ghtz with 1024 meg RAM and a 7200 harddrive.

thanx very much

I have this one too but just with one plugin (and not always): warpdelay. Do you use vst?
On Xp sp1

I don't think it's SP2 as I am running Live 4.0.3 with Windows XP Pro SP2. Not getting any errors like the ones you're reporting - just standard weirdness with some VST/VSTi's and the occasional crash.

thx

well, im not using any vst's, just live.. now that error disappeared for a while but i get a lot of audio issues... when i pick another samplerate then 9600 audio stutters like mad, when i pick 9600 it's nice but the cpu load is heavy....werid:-(
