i hope the ableton rep doesnt mess this up by playing some goofy minimal techno. show those academics what ableton can do!!

looks to me that we have a release date that the abes haven't announced themselves.
18th of november. just over two weeks. better save up some cash.

Now watch the Abe' crew set it back an extra week just to teach us not to tread on their game

Na, for now we just stick to our schedule...
Sorry for the IRCAM confusion, it was their (slightly misleading) interpretation of the first official Max for Live presentation by Ableton in France during their workshop as stated on our news page.
"Also featured will be the French premiere of Max for Live, IRCAMAX preview (Max for Live patch bundle) and gesture pickup and motion capture with Live 8 by Cyrille Brissot, Jean Lochard, Frederic Bevilacqua and Frederic Rousseau (IRCAM)." (
