downloaded the demo. grmh, if I only had more time. but if this works as expected, then it is a no-brainer.
Another 15$ investment.
I really like the idea of making patches that you can't save. at least you can do screenshots of good patches.
Someone remeber mixing on analogue consoles? Drawing sheets full of knob positions, anyone?

The limitations are really what makes it...anything you try to build with it, you're doing it with nothing but very basic sine and pulse modulation and delay. It's intense really, what complex things you can come up with using such rudimentary tools.
Like the oscillators...at first you're like, "wow, nine!" But they're not nine full-range, multi-waveform oscillators like a modern synth, they're limited to very narrow frequency bands that stop at like 6000 Hz, and make all kinds of additive weirdness when you start mixing them.
And it does allow saving, unlike gleetchlab. It has a few quirks, like the tape decks are a little fiddly and hard to grab accurate snippets in, but that sort of adds to the authenticity of the whole thing. I'm trying to be a purist about it so far and only use sounds generated within the program, but I'm probably going to have to use an outside audio editor at least, to cut usable samples to run on the tape decks.

i did a 2 hour set in the little tea house i play in every month a week ago.
nothing but berna rewired into live, then some beats from mictronic and a bit of fabfilter one to noodle over the top.
was the most fun ive had in a while
