hi people, me and a friend make trance with Live 8 we both have ableton, the same VSTs and the same samples, but he lives a long way from me, is there a way i can take a finished or a half made tune to his house and load it on his ableton using his PC so he can remix my music which i started at my house? maybe using a memory stick or maybe i can send info over the net?

anyone have any answers to this, please let me know

kind regards

Quade

Hi,
you can easily share data with your friend on the web through websites such as "YouSendIt" (free till 100Mo) or "SendSpace" (free till 300Mo), etc.
http://www.yousendit.com/
http://www.sendspace.com/

The best is to join your Live project with all its samples together, to make sure your friend will get it "as original" (file > "join and backup"? I have a Live 8 french version, so I'm don't know the exact name of this function in the english one…)

Then you just have to zip your Live Project folder and send…

Cheers!
