Woohoo, never mind, just got news about two guaranteed days of work that are going to pay me what I'm asking for this keyboard, so no need to sell it. I will leave a pic up, though.

And what is getting me the money for these two days, you ask? (I know you didn't ask, but I'll show you anyway, because I like it)

This:

Which is my portable video lighting kit

and this:

which is a 9 ft jib arm resting on a 5 ft base that my uncle and I built two weeks ago - it's teh awesome, and it works very well.

I'm busy:

a) chasing actual female ass
b) going to school
c) being broke

Acually, b is interfering with everything, including a, but not c, and since I use the keyboard the least, it has unfortunately moved to the top of things to go.

what will you replace it with? or since you're not using it what softsynth do you use that sounds better than that?

I would have to be threatened with having my family and loved ones killed to sell something as sweet as that!

If you need to raise money sell your (or someone else's) body..

me and my writing buddy have owned 3 sh2's and 2 sho9 in our time. We are down to just one of each at the moment.
We love these machines :)

think you'll have an awfully hard time pulling 850 for that man. Haven't seen them go for more than 450 or 500 ever I don't think...

I've seen them go for that in beat-to-hell condition, yeah, but mine isn't beat to hell...it's actually very nice, just dusty.

As for softsynths, I'm barely even making music anymore, my current weapons of choice are Final Draft, Final Cut Pro, and After-Effects. I do use Live for some sound design, but what I usually use for that is Soundtrack, which just slays Live for wave editing.

EDIT: BTW, Deadbeat, love your tunes...you're one of maybe five people who make anything resembling techno that I actually listen to.

*bows* Thank you, sir.

The really nice thing about it is that it weighs about as much as a pro jib the same size and reach, you can disassemble it on every level, and if something breaks, it's a cheap fix. Also, I can rent it out and go along as operator for $250 a day, easy.

Yep, absolutely! And it cost you a tiny fraction of an 'industry' jib. I bet you get some nice shots with that!

Reminds me of some stuff in Robert Rodriguez's book DV Rebel

That's actually Stu Maschwitz's book  but I've got both that and Rodriguez's "Rebel without a Crew" book - neither of my copies could even be sold as second hand, they're so beat up. 8)

Very nice indeed! :D I wish I had a photo, but back in the day I built a "Steadicam" for a Super-8 camera from one of these:
