new live + new reaktor = crash

hey
i just upgraded live and reaktor in one go and found the new reaktor update (dont remember the version, but it's pretty fresh) crashes the new live version during startup.
just to let you know

It works fine here. Are you on Mac OS X and moved the plug-ins in a different folder? If so, don't.

i'm on OSX panther, and installed both apps on my fresh new powerbook. new live with old reaktor works, but as soon as i install the reaktor update, it will crash during live startup.

Thanks. That is very strange. For me it works very well. Does Reaktor work in other hosts on your machine? Did you try the VST or Audio Unit version?

i'm about to go to a holiday (this evening) with my PB, so i'll rather not do the install/deinstall procedure again, as it works for now (with the old reaktor). so i can't try it with logic - but i'll do when i get back.
as for audio unit or VST, i installed both - and then the VSTs were the ones crashing and being disabled. the AU would not crash during startup but would not work either if i remember correctly.
hmmm... i think i'll see if i have the time later to do the whole thing again so i can give you a more detailed description of what happens.
