Just got mine, man this thing is epic, so light and thin and well made, and yes it does have an odd tangy sherbet lemon smell mixed with industrial waste. but who cares!!

Haha,

now you can decide, what fits you more:

The hiss of the APC or the smell of Launchpad.
Or you go hardcore, take both and own the stinky hiss! :D

I vote for the last option... Launchpad arrived today.

just received the Launchpad and its all fine so far except for the really bad smell it has. I really didnt believe this first but is indeed pretty bad and i already have a headache from it. So does the smell get better over time ? ( I know its just out for a few days  )

Cheers

you can buy some nice "new apple smell" in a spay can to overcome the cheap and cancer causing novation smell...

otherwise you can wait a few month since it has disappeard...or..maybe put it int he offen.. 2 hours with 350 degrees should defenetly change the smell... better or worth ? i cant say.. but thats the fun in a pioneers live... do things noone has done before.. and smeel things nobody has smelled before..

keep us informed..good luck

once the cancer settles in you won't notice the smell as much.

then these are defective....they lack smell and probably awesome. I would return immediately ask the clerk for a Launchpad w/smell. Explain that the smell=awesome and that you didn't pay your hard earned cash for an no smell and no awesome.
