save more and go for some handy HARDWARE: clavia nord micro modular or dave smith's evolver. the first one gives you posibility to use PATCHES so you can use that magic word without buying m4l :) (check out my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x48LGl16zvI)

i'm glad I already own max, $99 for me. but max isn't cheap, so I don't know what all the price complaining is about. we're talking about an addition of almost unlimited possibilities to live. i mean, you can mess with the insides of live, add the features you're missing and if you're not up for the programming task, there are so many people that are going to do all that for you and share it. why would it be cheaper than it is?

Can't see why you'd need anythig else with suite and komplete, but maybe look at the d16 group, audio damage, or maybe the U-he stuff?

Based on your current set up, the thing you need most is Kore 2. Pick it up used, it's infinitely more useful than racks. And maybe update to Komplete 6 if you fancy that.
