whats the deal with all this undo.cfg problems lately......its been posted before over and over and there has been no official response of any kind.

in case you havent figured this out, it is a bug, and from what i found on the forums its been around since v2.

its getting really annoying and im sick of having to abnormally end the program through task manager.

this was never happening to me before, and now it happenes every damn day.

this time i got the error seeking file message simply rasing the volume using my midi controller on a track. and of course then it wont let me do anything and my only option is to end task. if this happens to me in a live setting, i swear dude...

I had the same problem, mate. It's solvable!
I got an email reply from ableton:

"I recommend to trash your "Undo.cfg" file and possibly your "Preferences.cfg" file:
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ableton\Live 4.03\Preferences\" "


Start by deleting the undo.cfg file. Live will make a new one, one that's not buggy.

but ive tried that before to no avail....i will try again, and again...and again

And the issue pops back again after a while anyway :/
We can't keep deleting that file... especially when running long term installations.

We need an official fix for this. Please.

I agree, I have the same problem, I have to run live for an installation and keep getting that error and live crashing...

this is seriously happening every day for me now,, seriously have tried everything,, really need to know how to fix this bug asap,,
