Please Help! Import .mid file doesn't work

I despair of importing several .mid files in live.
I got several midi files from a friend and wanted to import them, but it doesn't work. i know they aren't corrupt.
I don't know why, I have several other Midis that work fine,
these suspicious mid files each have one track and are round about 1kb, don't know if that matters, anyone an idea?
If it's necessary, i can provide you one of these files to find out what's the problem, please someone give me a clue.
