Live 8 "intro" version - will it handle SoundFonts?

Hi - with the "intro" version be able to handle sound fonts like the full version of Live? I think the answer is "no" as I think Sound Fonts need to have Sampler and it seems that "intro" only has Simpler and not Sampler...
Of course I can't try this myself as my PC has the full Suite! Doh.

You can always export your SF2 files to wavs using other tools, just depends on your workflow and where you want to focus your time.
Something I've noticed is that while many programs support the use of SF2', they yield different results. After years of frustration I have moved away from SF2s completely. In theory its a good portable format, but they seem to import differently depending on what DAW you are working. Personally I'm happy with the results I get in Reason and Ableton comes in a close second. This was a few years ago too, so I'm sure they have improved it since then.
With that being said, Sampler is sick and wrong on multiple levels (this is a good thing of course) and pays for itself in time savings if you ask me.
