Issues mapping Behringer FCB1010 -- wrong control commands!

I'm using the Behringer FCB1010 MIDI foot-controller with Live 8, and for the most part programming its control commands and mapping them to Live is pretty easy. For some reason though, switches 5, 7 and 10 always come out wrong. No matter what control command I program, Ableton reads switch 5 as "Pitchbend", switch 7 as "CC 21" and switch 10 as "Note C-2".

Any idea what's wrong here, and how to fix it? Thanks.

I think you can send two messages with each switch : one on press and one on release. This may be the cause.

You would be better to program the FCB to send midi note instead of CC.

right, this has proved to be the solution to make the looper's multipurpose button work

OK, I'll give MIDI notes a try instead of control commands...

But the next question is, how do I use "Tranzport Emulation" to execute commands that can't be mapped through the standard way? Like moving left/right between tracks, arming the current track for recording, start/stop recording on the current track. People keep using that term "Emulation" but I have no clue how to implement it. I get as far as choosing Tranzport as my control surface. After that I'm clueless...
