I'm really disappointed, Automap don't work with Live 8, just purchased pro version, I wish I could use Keystrokes:x

Nope i found this out recently too. Ableton is not a client for automap (astoundingly) Which mean we cant do keystrokes. which is UBER annoying.

So the only way to do keystrokes with the Launchpad is to use Bome?

It is annoying, but the Launchpad is still a fantastic Live controller. It's the only one I need now - don't even need a MIDI pad controller or keyboard. If only they did a 16 x 8 version...
My view is that Ableton should address this in Live 9 by including customisable key commands/macros, and midi-mapping of any controller to those key commands/macros.

well if you use the automap virtual drivers instead of the launchpad one, it should be working, would it not?

Is there anyway to change the 'session view box size' ???
The red square, instead of 8x8, can i not adjust it to 6x8 ? leaving the bottom 2 rows free.
One thing i like to do is... have all tracks running through either send C or D... each being outputs 1/2 - 3/4... so i can send each track to channel 1 or 2 on my djm400.
i currently have this setup on the bottom two rows on user 1 but it would be much easier to see and understand on the session view page... please help.
