SOS with my new Novation Launchpad, for a Live 7 user !!!!!

Please help, when I install it it works ok with the Live 8 Launch Edition, I don't needed because I own Live 7 full version, in the Live Preferences, Midi Sync the Input and outputs finds the launch pad, but in the control surface it is included in the list, I try to pick one from the list and only weird things operate in the launchpad, does it really work with Live 7, it is marketed available to ver. 7 and 8. ??????
