Hi

I'm trying to install huskervu but it won't install. I have a couple of versions of NET framework (all of them are later versions that the 1.1.1 or something that the installer says I need). In any case, when I run the installer it asks me if I want to instal Net framework 1.1.1 and i say yes, it downloads and install the latest version and then i restart the computer, run huskervu's installer and this very process starts again!!!!! I mean that i can't get out of the 'you need net framework' loop!!!!

Anybody?

Thanxs!

to the best of my (limited) knowledge, all .NET versions are independent. IOW if you have a later version installed it doesn't mean that applications requiring 1.1 will necessarily work

you need to install all the frameworks

but it sounds like you have. can you confirm that .NET 1.1 is shown in your installed programs list?

can you use BCView instead? i think the main difference is that huskervu is a resizeable window (??)

Just to chime in again... I've un/re-installed all the different DotNets (including 1.1) and all their little updates and whatever. And now I'm thinkin back and I know I tried the BCE View or whatever and must have not worked or somethin cause I never got the Mackie Emu Viewer-deal workin at all. Any idea what the advantage of huskervu is supposed to be in the first place?

that's the only reason i tried huskervu. because the width of the bcview window does not match the width of the bcf (at my screen resolution, anyway)

but for some reason I did not stick with it. i had some problem or other
