it's the standard stuff, it more comes down to the color of your wall and the color of the foam. black foam on a white wall is best for minor keys, orange foam on a green wall is for tarnce, etc.

I check that daily too, 40% off is a good deal.

Related but not...

I plan to spend a good part of my day next Friday on the Internet scoping out Black Friday deals, held off on a couple purchases over the last couple weeks because of that glorious day.

need to get on this shit, need some foam, ive been meaning to by studio foam for years now. Would be sweet if they had some black friday deals for music instruments and such. Guitar center sent me an email about this and all there doing is $100 off of a certain spending price, and then 3 more ones that are $50 off and so on.

This foam DOES NOT WORK. It is also a fire hazard. Or was at one time. Ethan winters is the man to talk to. Build some bass traps and follow his knowledge. You will not find much here on room acoustics.

Also, correct me if im wrong but... this was the same foam that caught on fire when Great White played that show. I remember a debate on this stuff before I did my studio years ago. Trust me, that foam is crap.

Actually, the foam does work. I've been using in my studio for a few years now and it helped with reflections tremendously. Also, I' don't have pyrotechnic shows in my studio, so flammability is not such a big issue for me.
