I have been using os 9 for live but want to move to os x. What do i need to do to do this. When install on os x it doesn't seem to really install it and when i click the icon it always tries to bring up classic mode. Do I need to throw the os 9 version out first?

Any help would be great!

Hi twelve,

No. keep the OS9 version. Just download the OSX version and put it into a different folder called "Live OSX 1.5.2" for instance.
Tip, always keep the old version, if you find a bug you can't work with, then you can go back to an earlier version.

Nope, you need a new unlock. After you downloaded the OSX version, you are able to unlock it on the Ableton site.

thanks for the help. i downloaded a new version for os x and i got it working no problems os x jaguar, iMic is working for input and output and first tests were sucessful. Will try to max it out later to see what kind of performance difference from os 9.
