id like to use live like a real drumsampler / sequencer, with basedrums, hihats, and short chordsounds. but if i play a sample it tooks about 1 or 2 seconds, if live play this sample!
is live not the real programm to arrange loops with short samples? whats wrong with my setup.. :( ..can someone help me?

You CAN use Live like a drum sampler if you turn off the loop setting for the clip and change the launch setting to trigger (or gate if you want to control how long a sound plays for -- like a noise burst or something). When you play the clip from a keyboard or midi drum pad it will trigger at the quantization setting. If you want the clip to trigger exactly when you hit it, you'll have to set the quantization to off.

it is right. Live can be a very good drumsampler. Like btester said; turn of the loop, change the launch modus to trigger or gate and turn off the quantization. Works fine!

okay, i have checkt it, and its great! i know my
problem: i use a motu 828 interface, and there was some problems, but now I found the new update at the download link! perfect! it works fine, and very very fast! :lol:
