uzi loop and unexpected behaviour (not a bug,I need help)

I'd expect another result:

but I have the last value repeated ..

could someone help me ??

When you're setting the value for pack, you're also triggering it. You need to set the value of the pack object without triggering it. You can do that with the set argument.
On top of that there is no message ordering.
One thing I've learned with max is: If you connect an outlet to multiple things, you want to control the order stuff happens in. Otherwise you'll get messed up results.

Not going to be able to help you with your last issue, but to build upon Bjorn's solution for the first fragment - in the interest of using the fewest objects possible, fyi you don't need that 2nd trigger (uzi gives you the index and bang already) and you don't need both arguments to the set object.

Another fyi, you could also use 'prepend' instead of 'set' if you wanted, although there's probably no difference.

my patch will evolve into very JS I guess.
in order to reduce object number etc.
for the moment, it is very ok, efficient etc ... so :)
but it could be more efficient and more cute!
