Hey team,
I have a hopefully just a simple few problems, bit of a newb so any help would be much appreciated.
Have warped a track I'm trying to chop up, warped fine, awesome!. I sliced to midi track so could play it out chopped up, But now can't lock in bpm and speed it up because it's in midi I guess.???
So I thought I would chop it up manually- caveman style in arrangement view. What is the easiest way to do this because.. I can't seem to cut and paste in the clip/warp view and even tho it's warped that does not correspond to the original track data.. ie. it's not on grid/warped/quantised.
Hope that's understandable. I know this is basic 101 isht and I did RTFM for an answer or 2.
Chur.

Sorry for posting in the wrong area.
Okay figured I can just move the track data to line up on beat, but it's not going to be exact. thought there would be a way to do this automatically, Like the "set 1.1.1 here". oh well fucc it.
Still having issues' with the midi data tho. prehaps a slave/ master issue? Can you stretch stuff out once sliced to midi?
Loving Live 8, finding more answers than questions, so all good. Peace.
