Do I have this MIDI clock thing right

While I use Live mainly as a ReWire slave to SX, since the abletons put so much work into adding the MIDI features, I thought I would at least give them a try.

If I am correct (and there is a possibility that I am not), I am a little dismayed at the MIDI clock capabilities of the app. Unless I am overlooking something, I have found that Live can only send clock to one MIDI output. This seems rather odd.

In my case, I have a MIDIsport 8x8 with a Virus C, MS2000R, EA-1, ER-1, SH-32, and an MPX-110 each on its own port. If I want to use the arpeggiator on say the Virus C and the SH-32, I would need to send clock to both units. But it appears that I can only send clock to one of them; which would be the unit connected to the port I have selected for the synchronization output.

Is my assessment correct? If I am incorrect, would someone please enlighten me to what I am overlooking?

Thanks

i'm not sure if Live allows for multi sync out, but one possible workaround could be had using something like MIDIyoke/MIDI-ox. you could assign Live's sync out to a MIDIyoke port and then route that port to send to two (or more) ports on your MIDISport.

Yeah, that is what I am doing, except I am using a local port of MidiOverLan CP instead of MidiYoke.

With SX, I can send MTC or MIDI Clock to any output on the system and as many outputs as I need to. I was hoping Live would follow suit, but it is looking kind of grim right about now.
