hello,

I'm running live on my pc (athlon 1400, 512 ram)
my audio interface is a emi 2/6 (via usb)
If I try to chage the latency below 20 ms it sounds terible....

in other applications like cubase sx / logic audio it's no problem to work with latency of 6 ms !!!!!!

of course I'm using the same Asio devie in every program !!

i hope you can help me!!

cheers,
MM

wellll . . . i am, in fact, getting 10ms latency with the emi on a pc/xp laptop (toshiba satellite / p4).

you guys do know that there's a line of code you need to add to the liveOptions.txt file, right? if not, here it is:

(and enter this exactly as follows)

-AsioSupportProcessNow=1

works for me.

Hope this helps :)

it works !! I'm so happy !!

first I couldn't find the file but then I just created

a simple txt file and named it liveoptions.txt and saved it at \\ableton\preferences\

and it worked !!!

hello neil,

i'm using an ibm r32 thinkpad 1,6 ghz p4 256 mb ram
and everyrthing is running fine now ... at 6 ms with the emi interface...

in my studio I'm using live on an athlon 1400 mhz and I have no problems either... I think the most important thing is to have a working os without to many crap installed at the same time....

cheers
