For those not fans of 2d interfaces (uh, you use Live, so why would you not be a fan?), the background can be customized and there is a growing number of new custom GUI's to hopefully suit everyone's needs/wants.

Bottom line is that this thing kicks some serious ass, so do yourself the favor of downloading the demo and give the ol' A/B test if you're not an instant believer.

Yes there is another channel strip for $15 out there, but IMHO, this one is better (just try the EQ), and even better... this one does not require iLok or any other intrusive protections systems.


Forgot to mention one more thing... AU/RTAS/VST (including VST3 and x64).

MixControl is ridiculously low on CPU usage. I dare you to compare the CPU usage to other Channel Strips and even Live's devices setup as Channel Strip racks. It'll make you wonder why other companies can't also make great software while maintaining low cpu.

For about 27euro I couldn't even justify reading more than the the first and last page of the KVR thread.
reports were good tho and Team DNR seem to have a cockos approach to collaborating with the user and banging out updates real quick.
