i use multichannel I/O audio card MOTU 828 (FireWire) MacOS9.2.2/PowerBookG3-500Mhz to prelisten to the next loop or a track to mix in a live situation . How do you use two instances of Live exactly , what's your setup?

i run a dell8000 // emi2|6 .
the problem is the amount of scenes. say, i my live set consists of more than 50 scenes or even hundreds, my laptop is crying blood.

i got to split the set in to 'sets', have to work with one open instance of the program while the other open instance loads another scene.

this is cool in a way cause you can fade / mix between these two files.
but i would prefer just one BIG FILE with an endless amount of scenes that do not eat up my ram.

or maybe there is a way do dislocate ram from not currently used scenes ?

would you give some background on how you are applying the scenes?
