we just released another beta version of the next bugfix update, Live 8.1.1b2
Every Suite 8 and Live 8 full version owner can use that beta.

Thanks Alex - great to see such relatively slim installs, the 8.1.1bx 100MB downloads are much more conducive to regular updating and testing... cheers...

I noticed that one of the bug fixes of this beta is this:
-Moving the mouse over a certain Sampler preset could crash Live. [6207]

Sounds similar to this:

Could you please investigate this?
Sylenth is one of most popular VSTs, and this crash has been happening for several months.
Still does in 8.1.1b2.

need support for live LITE 8

that is exciting to hear the install is around 100 megs. much more reasonable.

When the release it out it'll be the big whopper install again...

i don't mind that releases are big downloads, i just like the betas being small, it gives me more incentive to use them.

And as long as final releases are not something like 7GB =S that would suck!.
Less than 1GB is reasonable for me... however I'm affraid that there are still some users with 56k connections!!! It would be great to leave the 100MB for them.. Or even for the high bandwidths who don't want to spend much time downloading.
