Does anyone know about the iPod replacement program from Apple when the battery fails ?
It looks like they replace your ipod for about $90 ?
but they have a lot of info about it and its not that clear because my 80gb video ipod has a dead battery and its 3 years old.

Don't know about a program, I replaced the battery in the mrs' iPod mini myself, better battery, longer life than the original. Lots of kits and yootoob vids out there.

Doing things yourself rather than get the church of apple to fix them, you must be a pc user!

Hey Ben,
i did work quite a while for apple and can help you on this one. Apple will replace your ipod with a refurbished one which contains a new battery. The good thing is that it will also have a new enclosure so it looks like brand new. They normally replace it with the exact same model you have.
Cheers
