Changing color of LaunchPad LEDs with M4L?

Anyone had any experiments with this?
Just received LP today and the LED colours are nothing like in the pics.
And so they don't work with my colour-blindness.
Mega let down!
I can't tell the difference between 'clip playing' and 'clip present'

I can see 3 colours in the Mixer page.
But my girlfriend told me that 2 of them are amber of different intensities and one is red.
I would be happy to just have 3 colours for clip feedback and not care about the intensities for mixer stuff.

I don't own Max or M4L.
I would love to know if this can be done.
Anyone?

nothing like the pics? but you're color blind. sorry 'bout that.

there's high and low for red, amber and green and then there's yellow. they're bi-colored LEDs, those are the stock colors, there might be more.

it's pretty easy to make a max4Live patch to change the colors in an app you made yourself, it would take more effort to change mixer or session view on the Launch Pad.

i get where you're coming from...the promo pics do hype the color intensity up a bit.

you can access the various colors/intensities w/o max for live via midi messages at different velocity values.

in direct sunlight you can barely see them. in a dark room they look like glowing candies.
