i am trying to get live to accept the ASIO driver for the ESI GigaportAG (USB to 8 analog rca outs). nowhere in the preferences does it allow me to choose an output driver. i've dropped the driver in the "ASIO Drivers Folder" and the extension the the "system extensions" folder and i can't seem to locate any path to it within live. i'm sure i must be missing something as this hardware seems like the ideal way to run dedicated channels out of my laptop (mac G3) to an 8 track mixer.
