One accesibillity thing mouse play

In Live 7 it was not possible to record in loop a some melody by just playin with mouse
It is a accessibility thing so if you don't have controller midi surface and want to play notes and really play them easier on screen than lookin on keyboard and tryin to remember which key is what note ...
So there is usability to zoom to expand track vertical so you can few octaves on screen but yet can not be played by just makin a loop and playin tune line by line that is a really buggy misfeature it would improve Live when you don't have midi equipment
Cubase have that for like a 8 years ... it would make some of the user of live happy and stop their need of switchin application ...
If it was posted tell me where but I miss that feature in Ableton 7
