That is a great clip! Although I have had 2 crashes today:) I understand peoples frustration because it wears on your confidence in the program when it happens day in and day out although I don't understand people just complaining about it. Report your crashes, email ableton your crashlogs. If you get sick of it use another program. I'm learning Reaper and Logic on the side now so I can decide what works best for me as time goes on. Keep the options open.

you understand peoples frustration but don't understand why people are complaining?

if you go through as much trouble to post on their website, I'm pretty sure your emailing them your crash logs.

you make it worse by complaining about complaining..

were complaining to try to get our problems fixed, because we PAID for this software to work. I have faith but am loosing confidence quickly. I could barely play a set tonight with the newest beta... I will be investigating as i have to gain confidence in something by new years..

I'd say that for every five or ten times I open Live, it crashes or becomes unusable to the point where I need to restart it, at least once.

recent posting saying that Live is not up to snuff.

So I asked my good buddy Gerhard and he said (and I quote):

So there!

(Oh, and a Merry Christmas to all you weird people - you know who you are. :D )
well, can i weird one have your setup please (if it includes a mac, i trade immediately, no joke!), then i can make some tunes without permanent frustration of recently roughly 30-40 restarts a day (if i try to work the whole day, which i gave up and i am waiting for the next update), now you could help out a weird one to become normal... that would be something, wouldn't it?

Just out of interest have there been any official responses from Ableton regarding people's instability issues?

You can't perceive my musical snippet as a pun?

Live is sta-sta-sta-ble. Get it? Total-ableto-stability. The hypnotic fadeout? Maybe I am too subtle?

Of all the places I've been to on the Internet, this is the least likely place to be taken seriously.

Yes, I've had my problems with Live 8. Yes I've submitted more crash logs and bug reports in this release than any other.

I have both a PC and a Mac and they both have their peculiar sets of problems.

You complain, so now I complain. Do we feel better?

Happy holidays again, all ye of little humor.

 , honestly i did not listened to it.

i just wish it worked in my setup right now, flawless, i got finally time until january and i am desperate writing new tunes... with live.
i so hope for 8.1.1

that's all.

and @ grandmasterbird, i don't know, last timer i called (a few month ago) i've been told to wait, to may people where on holiday (i think  ) and they can't deal with my little unimportant problem right now. well since then i always wait for the official updates and i don't complain anymore (and i stopped using betas or sending crash logs), but i do highly sympathise with the people being utterly pissed off. that is why i wrote or write still sometimes if this issue comes up.
