i always wish it was more.

hard to answer your poll, usually between 4 and 6 i say sometimes way less sometimes more... right now none... i have so much trouble that i gave up and need to wait for 8.1.1

i voted 4, it is possibly my average.

more than 2 hrs. on a daily... (at work we use samplitude...)
we have rehearsal sessions daily in which I use Live...

most of the weekend is dedicated to music(usually with Live as part of my setup)..
I guess Friday/Saturday/Sunday depends on the mood/events I'll do more than 4 hrs a day easy...

Live is almost always open on my machine...
I'll switch to it every once in a while... I've never timed those 'micro-sessions'...
I'd add 1 track that fits..mess with it...hit save and go back to my business...

today - started about 5 hours ago, will probably go until after midnight.
yesterday - 4pm to 1am
Sat night - 7pm to 4:20am with a forumite.
Friday - 6pm to after midnight (max4Live time)

typical work night, 2-3 hours. sometimes just staring at it dead f-ing tired.

2 - 9 hours a day, depending, don't know how to vote.

..and no workie for two more weeks.

atm, 2 to 4 hours, the holidays take up some time. After this week im going to try and be spending 8 hours a day in live.

Not as much as I would like.

But usually a couple a day, commitments pending.

My resolution for the new year is to spend more than 15hrs a week on live just creating music.

I can sometimes spend 30 hours on a weekend working on Live and then I might not use it again for several days.

Ditto Cubase. Depending on projects I am working on for self and/or with others.

Until I was laid off recently, I was working daily with Logic and 2-3 times a week on PTHD projects with the occasional Cubase project on Mac for the studio's clientele (mostly music I don't enjoy if I'm honest, lots of acoustic folk type stuff and religious choirs (usually not of the amazing gospel variety but local church group amateurs), and strangely enough, quite a few teenie bands playing goth and emo). Live and Cubase are my home studio darlings.

The only good thing about being laid off is that I have had more time to work on my music, and having finished up my alternative rock project in October, I have been almost totally focused on using Live for a new electronic music project.

On average I would say an hour but I can go days / weeks without opening ableton to it being open for as long as 14 hours.

Today I spent an hour. Monday I spent 8!
There was once a time when I spent about 4 hours per day, almost every day.

it went through the roof since i bought the APC-40.
last night i bought Max For Live..........

Sometimes 10mins, average maybe 3hours, sometimes 9 hours.

More than 2 is accurate, but over a weeks time I would say closer to 16-30 hours, not 14.
Some days zero, most a few hours and sometimes 6 to 12 when a song is moving along. Depends on what else is going on.
I assume like me, most of you love the 12 hour days when a piece comes together, can't get enough of that.

Unfortunately that was last night at midnight, so 4AM bedtime and up at 8:30 for work.... worth it though.
Brings up the question, why is it always at the edge of sleep that I'm the most creative?
