Reaktor 5 AU doesn't update controls

Hello!
I use many ensembles of Reaktor 5 in my live sets, changing patches via Program Change from song to song.
I used VST for a while, but I switched to the AU version because of random GUI freezing ( still unresolved bug ).

The problem is that when I change the patch the selected controls of the AU ( choosed via "Configure" ) don't update their status, so I can't see the updated parameters on my Nocturn ( I see the old value ) and the value jumps when I move the knobs.

This doesn't happen with the VST version, which updates the controls accordingly to the patch ( but keeps freezing the GUI, however... )

I'm running OS X 10.5 on a Intel MacBook, Live 8.1
Cheers!

In Arrangement view, playing a piece: when passing over a Patch change (always a couple of measure before beginning to play the MIDI clip) in a track containing Reaktor 5, it cuts momentarily, a few milliseconds, the main audio output. It happens mostly the first time I play the file. This phenomena does not occur when I make an Export audio in the rendered file. Others have the same problem?

Live 7.14

2 nezoomie:
the situation you described may happen because of AU do not send any MIDI outside, as i know... well, at least this happens with Reaktor as AU in Live. That's why i using it as VST, but i do not have any GUI freesing problems.

tnx zvukofor for the explaination!
the problem of GUI freezing seems to be related with the use of program changes with some VSTi ( There are some post around this forum regarding this issue ). In a live situation it is terrible! Live 8.1.1 still gives this problem to me. On the other side, I think that many glitches I get sometimes can be due to the AUs. In the end both solutions are compromises to me
