Setting up assigned Drum Rack Macros as a default?

I saw a unanswered request for this under support when I searched with no replies obviously because it was in the wrong place.
I just set up a nice sampler drum rack preset under Defaults/On Drum Rack with the velocity set as well as a little filter controlled with velocity.
I have a huge single hit drum library, much of which is already categorized in drum racks for easy browsing. I am getting ready to update it with some new sounds I have collected and would like to be able to have ASDR auto assigned to macros when I build them. My research has yielded no way other than assigning each slots simpler to macros manually. This seems ridiculous.
It seems I should be able to set up a default that will load drum racks, with my simpler defaults AS WELL as auto assigning any slot I fill to the ASDR.
Bonus points to anyone who can tell me how to easily get the hundreds of racks I have already built to update with my (hopefully) new macro assignments and simpler defauly preset.
I'll break off some of my favorite kicks to anyone who can help. Thanks!
