Where is the Undo History?

Max just completely crashed ableton and lost me hours of work...
Is there a way i can cobble it together from the undo history if i uninstall max?

undo history??
is it a cow???
Even if you click "save" ALL your undo entries will be lost!
LOL!
For history handling etc ableton is the the strangest software i ever used!!
The only software that tells you DONT SAVE YOUR PROJECTS BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UNDO!!!!

Pah, you should try working with Microsoft Project (any of the pre-2007 versions) - it only had one level of Undo, you could only go back one step. Tens of millions of licences sold, market leader... and one level of undo!
I thought Live's undo handling is pretty standard. Undoing past previous saves would be a nice feature, but none of the other software that I use support that feature either.

every single open source/free app im using can undo after!
(more than 50)
text / html / image / audio / video editors!!!
even the little free wavosaur lets you undo after save !
it is 2010 in 2 days WTF

That's funny - I just went to check the other major creative program that I use, XCode, just to prove you wrong and found out that it supports this feature too! Never needed to use it - imagine that!
