Hi!

Is there a step by step guide to set up a shoutcast with live? I want to do everything on one pc, it's just for my private audience
I've tried VirtualCable, but the whole stuff was high sophisticated and at the end I didn't get it to work.

any help here?

Give a little more info on your setup ( sound card, OS).

OS : Win 7
soudncard : EM-U USB 101

but there must be a general solution for this problem, I guess I'm not the only one who wants to shoutcast with live, am I?

One thing I ended up having to do was, use the external soundcard for Live, and send additional outputs of it into my crappy laptop soundcard which was used for Shoutcast.

I have very little experience using that though.

Come on, there are people with more than 1000 posts, they must be experts in every detail of ableton live (and shoutcast)

I used to run my interface output into an external mixer, condenser mic on another channel for preaching - set all the levels via that, then sent it back into the computer where I set Shoutcast to recieve input from the interface..

Simples

If you read carefully, you will notice that I Do only use one computer

Almost the same as the poster above me. (except he uses his interface for both, which would result in better quality audio)
