that is abslolutely true but the wish is not evil at it's core: what he's looking for is a "reference platform" that Live could be developed to and tested on before porting to other platforms. The problem is that both Windows and Mac are moving targets, sometimes more slowly moving, but moving nonetheless.

osx just allows many things that would immediately help making live more stable... only AU support with a validation process for instance.

At this point, if Live went Mac only, I would have to change platforms.

but this is never going to happen, way to much money that can be earned with PC users would be lost, they rather live with a troubled product.\

yeah i know, having a go to os that you know works with live and know its not going to crap out on you while usage is definitely needed.

Am I missing something? Aren't Live 8's problems being experienced on both platforms?
