figured I best get this in while ableton is exterminating they're bug problem,

running: macbook pro leopard os

consistantly, if I drag and drop a song from itunes when itunes cant find the original file, live immediately crashes.


I usually use Itunes to organize and search my music, but this bug makes it a bit of a russian roulette for live perfomance.

i belive, but cannot confirm that older versions of live/itunes didnt have this problem.

I cannot reproduce this bug on my machine here. What versions of Live and iTunes do you use? Where do you drag the file from - is is a playlist with a file that has been moved or deleted? Does it make a difference where you let it drop in the Live application window?

It would also be helpful to send you crash logs as a zipped archive to [email protected], mentioning the topic of this thread. You can find the logs at <username>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter.

thanks! I will crash live a few more times, and send a full report!
